rnci Lambing bingo 2026

The Royal Northern Countryside Initiative are launching “Lambing Bingo” at RNAS Spring Show on Wednesday 25th as part of a fundraising drive from the rural educational charity.

RNCI Lambing Bingo will take place from 1st April with 75 ewes across Aberdeenshire and moray taking part. Each Ewe will have a bingo number sprayed on her side, once she lambs, RNCI will “call” her number out on their Facebook Page and website for bingo-ers to mark off their cards.

Bingo cards can be bought at the Spring show, this Wednesday or direct from RNCI.

RNCI have been appealing to sheep farmers who lamb in April, to help them with this fundraiser by providing a ewe or two to have a number sprayed on them. This appeal is still open so if anyone does want their ewes to be “bingo ewes” please contact Helen on details below.

Prizes will be provided for a line, two lines or a full house on the lambing bingo cards.

RNCI chairwoman Emma Ruxton comments on the fundraiser; “It's such a fresh exciting idea, that we hope members of the farming community and the general public get behind & have some lambing bingo fun with RNCI, all while raising some much-needed funds to get agricultural education into schools across the area – Good luck with the bingo everyone!”

This launch coincides with RNCI hosting 333 children from Aberdeenshire schools during the Spring Show Day, to provide educational talks, demonstrations and insight into agriculture within our area.

RNCI would like members of the public to support this event by buying a bingo card, these can be purchased at the Spring Show or by emailing helen@rnci.co.uk. RNCI are also appealing to business to support the event by donating prizes for the winners' hampers.
