Meet our New Project Manager
Welcoming Lynne Watson to RNCI
We’re delighted to welcome Lynne Watson to the RNCI team as our new Project Manager!
Lynne brings a fantastic mix of experience, enthusiasm and, perhaps most importantly, a real passion for people, farming and the outdoors.
Lynne’s career began in childcare before she went on to own and run a beauty salon for 10 years. After having her three children, she returned to her roots in early years education, where she found that she particularly enjoyed working with people, building relationships and helping others learn and grow.
Outside of work, Lynne is kept busy as a mum of three and a farmer’s wife, living and working alongside her family on their farm in Aberdeenshire. Farming, animals, the outdoors and plenty of practical jobs are very much part of everyday family life – so she already understands just how important it is to help children connect with where their food comes from and the countryside around them.
Lynne is excited to get stuck into RNCI’s projects and events, with a particular interest in hands-on learning, nature, farming and “field to fork” experiences. She is looking forward to helping children discover more about agriculture and the countryside, while making sure they leave our activities feeling more confident, curious and excited about what they have seen and learned.
She’s also looking forward to being involved in RNCI’s fundraising, events and our big birthday celebrations next year, celebrating 30 years of RNCI!
We’re so pleased to have Lynne on board and can’t wait to see what she brings to RNCI.
